Xton Access Manager Product Update 2.3.201904142223
Today we released new update to the Xton Privileged Access Manager software. This update adds dynamic columns selection to customize system reports and keep-alive option support for sessions established through SSH Proxy using native SSH clients.
Added dynamic column selection option to customize system reports
Dynamic column selection option for the system reports allows to hide or to show pre-built report columns to customize report view. The option is enabled for system-, vault-, folder- and record-level reports.
Added support for keep-alive request forwarding in SSH Proxy for the connections established by native SSH clients
IT administrators often configure server to disconnect users after inactivity timeout. However, there are situations that require long operations without interactive input from a user. Such situations include installation or update of the software or generating long reports. For such cases native SSH clients can activate the keep-alive option that sends periodic packets to the server indicating that the session should continue.
The new update includes support to transfer keep-alive packets from native SSH clients to the destination servers through SSH Proxy. These packets include both global request and ignore message based keep-alive packages supporting wide range of native SSH clients both Windows and Unix ones. This option enables one more use case in daily activities of IT administrators.
