Xton Access Manager Product Update 2.3.202007262300
Today we released new update to the Xton Privileged Access Manager software. This update adds default value and hidden field options in record type configuration as well as added workflow management delegation capabilities.
Added the option to specify default value for record type fields
The update added the option to specify default value for record type fields. The option allows to pre-populate fields with specified default value when creating or editing record. The update also allows to add new field with default value for all exiting records of a record type with the option to overwrite the value for specific records. The option allows to quickly customize access routine for multiple assets as well as to improve search and asset review capabilities
Added hidden option for record type fields
The update added the option to mark record type field as hidden on record views. The option allows to hide technical fields such as Prologue, Transport Security or DNS Verification required for the record operations but not important for record consumers from the record view screen. The hidden option for the fields in combination with default field values provide a method to quickly change behavior of multiple records grouped by record types.
Added workflow management delegation capabilities
The update added the option for item Owner to manage item workflow bindings allowing system administrators to delegate workflow management to vault and folder owners.
