Xton Access Manager Product Update 2.3.202007192320
Today we released new update to the Xton Privileged Access Manager software. This update added the option to import file attachments using CSV Import and improved recording rendering to video formats for Linux deployments by non-root users as well as for deployments with enabled recording encryption option.
Added the option to import file attachments
The update added the option to import record file attachments using CSV Import feature. The option allows quick onboarding or migrating from legacy systems records with certificates, private keys or other sensitive binary data. Among other benefits the option allows to migrate or onboard Unix host records accessed using private keys ready to be managed or accessed when needed.
To indicate that the field value in the CSV spreadsheet refers to the file attachment, use file:PATH notation where PATH is the actual file path on Windows (such as c:/Users/migration/key.pem) or Linux (/home/migration/host) platform hosting XTAM server.
Improved recording rendering to video formats option
The update improved the option to convert recordings of WEB sessions or sessions established using native clients to MOV or AVI format. The system stores recordings in internal storage efficient format that could be played back by the application GUI. However, it is always possible to export recordings from native system specific format to standard MOV or AVI video files for archiving, analysis or distribution purposes.
