Xton Access Manager Product Update 2.3.202108292314
Today we released new update to the Xton Privileged Access Manager software. This update added command filtering support for SSH Proxy sessions and the option to require mandatory ticket numbers during access requests.
Added command filtering support for SSH Proxy sessions
The update added command control support for SSH Proxy sessions. Command control allows administrators to configure the list of commands and their arguments that are allowed or blocked for execution by configured users or groups. This update makes command control feature long available for WEB Sessions to apply to SSH Proxy sessions established using native clients such as PuTTY, Secure CRT, MobaXTerm, etc
Same Command Control policies are reused for both WEB and SSH Proxy sessions. Review documentation about Command Control configuration using the links below.
Added the option to specify ticket types with mandatory values in the workflow binding configuration
The update added the option to designate some (or all) ticket types in the access request configuration as mandatory for the user to enter by using an asterisk character in front of ticket type on the workflow binding configuration screen like in the following example: *ServiceNow,*Jira. User has to type the ticket number for the selected ticketing system configured with mandatory values to proceed with the access request.
