XTAM now supports the option to design and build custom reports using the application query language HQL. These custom reports display data from the vault using the application’s model relations in a paginated table with available column selection and export to CSV and PDF options. Custom reports allow System Administrators to construct site specific reusable queries to visualize details captured by the system in the course of its operation to investigate incidents and to design better access practices, approval workflows and security guidelines for the organization.

Xton added the option to share records or sensitive messages outside of the system using destructible anonymous links. Generating Anonymous Links within XTAM allows a user (“author”) to securely share messages or record details with others without requiring them to sign-in to XTAM making it possible to share information with guests. Anonymous Link URLs are generated with a unique, random 32-character ID string and can be opened by anyone who has the link until the link’s expiration policy has been met. Once this expiration policy is satisfied, the content of the Anonymous Link is permanently destroyed.

Explore our New Interactive REST API Documentation
The XTAM server exposes every function that could be performed using the GUI through its REST API. To make it even easier to work with our API, an interactive REST API GUI browser using the common OpenAPI format is now available within the XTAM web portal. To open our interactive API, use the link located on the Administration > Settings > Application Nodes screen.
Additional XTAM Extensions and Enhancements
Over the past 30 days we have made a number of additional enhancements to XTAM. These include:

  • A new mobile device ready keyboard layout with larger buttons for remote sessions;
  • A new search query for recently created objects to better record tracking and for orphaned records;
  • New bulk actions menu options for Local User management.
Read the Xton blog to stay up to date on all product enhancements.
PAM strategies that rely on manual processes, spreadsheets and basic password enforcement are no longer enough to pass regulatory or audit requirements. Xton Privileged Access Manager provides out of the box solutions for several regulatory controls across multiple guidelines –GDPR, NIST 800-171, ISO 2700, HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley and many more.
