PAM Update: Adds automated email delivered reports subscription, bulk object sharing option and support for temporary accounts

The highlight of this update includes the option to subscribe to system-wide reports to receive them periodically in email attachments. The update also introduces the option to bulk share permissions for multiple selected objects and support for temporary accounts with a set expiration date:

Added the option to subscribe to automated email delivered reports

This update adds the option to subscribe to automated email delivered reports to receive them periodically as PDF or CSV email attachments.

The option allows to monitor the vital network activities, detect anomalies or discover problem areas without logging in to the system.

The option allows subscription to daily, weekly or monthly reports in PFD or CSV formats.

Users can subscribe to system-wide, vault-, folder- or record-level reports including report parameters and filters.

The examples of subscription may include the option to receive the list of failed password resets for computers in certain areas, access to certain devices, issued access requests or even a current list of assets under management in certain vaults.

Added the option to mass share multiple items with selected users or groups

The option allows the selection of several records or folders and sharing them with specified users or groups using one single operation.

This feature simplifies adding new assets to the system as well as expanding system use to wide groups or users.

Added support for temporary local accounts

The update brings the option to create temporary accounts with the specified expiration date.

The option allows to quickly enable external contractors to manage network assets so that the account they use to access granted network resources will be safely locked after the job is done.

This option could be used in combination with access request workflows enabling even tighter control over the access.

Temporary accounts are also useful to provide quick temporary access to privileged assets in cases when creating a regular Active Directory or another main user directory account is too slow or cumbersome to keep up with the needs of the IT administration

Added Vault-level reports for vault owners

Previously only system administrators or system auditors can build vault-level reports for the assets located in a certain vault.

This update brings the option to display, export or subscribe to vault-level reports to the vault owners without them accessing system administration or assets in other vaults.

The option increases the level of separation of duties between system managers allowing to grant administrator-level access to users for the specific vault only.
